I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas breaks and for those who felt that its not enough, the new year break is coming up soon!

An advance Happy 2012 to the readers out there! Hope that 2011 has been a fruitful year for all and 2012 will be better.

Well, here’s one for those who has missed the Harvey Norman Event that was on the 12 Nov 2011.

Straight after Yvonne’s cruise with the Yverlasters, Yvonne had an appearance in the Harvey Norman event on the 12 Oct 2011. We were excited to see Yvonne before she flew off to China to take on her next project in China. Dressed in white, Yverlasters met at Carl’s Junior at Marina Square before proceeding to the venue together to show our support for Yvonne.

Yvonne was invited as a guest to the Harvey Norman Celebration event where games and lucky draws are to be won. Yvonne arrived at 5pm and was soon on the stage conducting a mini game as well as the lucky draw!

During the game segment, 2 of the Yverlasters, one of which is the president of Yverlasting Yvonne, were chosen to be on stage to play. Their task was to act according to the super heros that was called out by the host which are Superman, Spiderman, wonderwoman and Aquaman (not too sure who this superhero was XD). The chosen two put up a good sportsmanship in the game section and it ended with one of the Yverlasters in the top 3 which she got a speaker from Harvey Norman as a prize.

After the game segment, it was the lucky draw segment, for those who have their names called out, they will have a chance to choose a  product from the list and buy it for 10 cents. Prizes ranges from high end computers to household products. It was indeed a bargain for those who have won the lucky draw!

When the event ended, Yvonne proceed with us to one of the corners of the mall where she treat us to cupcakes! (one of her favorites!)  She also took this opportunity to thank those who had came to the event to support her and did some catching up with the rest.

Yvonne stayed with us for a while before she rushed off to catch her flight to China for her next project. It was certainly an enjoyable day for the Yverlasters!

The group met at one of the popular shopping malls close to the filming location to prepare their mini surprise for Yvonne. It was 4 days to her birthday. The group of Yverlasters decided to give her a heartwarming present. They visited one of the stores and customized a cake for Yvonne.

Yvonne and her PA joined the Yverlasters for lunch and we took this chance to present to Yvonne the small present that we have install for her. Yvonne was filled with surprise and joy when she saw the cake! Her favorite creamy cake!  Lunch was great and we chatted with Yvonne and her PA throughout lunch.

After lunch, we were allowed to visit one of her filming locations. It was an interesting session as we get to see Yvonne filming live. It was not an easy task. The production crew has to film repeatedly to get the best shot. Yvonne and the rest of the actors have to repeat the scene again and again to get the best result so that we could have the best quality drama on our tv.

It was also an eye opener to many. Seeing her film, we grab an understanding of Yvonne’s working environment. We stood at a corner and kept quiet, watching her film. No noise not even the ringing sound of the phone was heard.

Yvonne ended her filming at 5pm. She stayed to chat with us for a while before she took her leave.

We were really happy that we managed to give a mini celebration to Yvonne!

Its a weird issue that I have been pondering about. Its a mystery that I have not yet to gasp upon. Maybe at the very end of this post you can solve this for me. Continuing from my previous letter…

Meal Two: (Meal One was in the previous post- Breakfast)

After the exclusive lunch, we all gathered at the lobby awaiting for the gate to open so we can make our way off the Cruise. YEP! our cruise is stopping over at KL for a good 5hrs!

At this point of time, 3 of us + our new friends decided to head to Mid Valley via Route B. While Miss Lim, Trey and her parents will go down via Route A.

Destination: Mid Vally, KL
Route A: Would be with the Cruise for provided bus to destination to and fro.

Route B: Free and Easy. Cabbing to and fro.

Meal Three:

We bumped into Miss Lim and while we were talking, we found out that they just finish eating at Mdm Kwan~! Nasi Lemak and stuff…HMM!

This is her happy laughter when she is FULL~! Wonder why she is laughing this hard? hmm….

We are back in the night…

Meal Four:
Miss Lim was seen eating with the rest of the Seikei Travel Crew. As its the very last night, they had a really good meal at Samurai Jap Restaurant. I heard it was a feast! They(excluding Miss Lim) even drank Sake~!

For the 3 of us after dinner, we took this time to really explore the cruise. We even did shamelessly things like running around the corridors of the cabins, shouting our “I LOVE YVONNE LIM” to the seas waves at the upper cruise deck, singing Christmas carols when we visited our new friend’s cabin and lastly we even Sing the National Anthem at the lift lobby. Just when we are too high and was heading back to our room~! Miss Lim and the rest of them actually just finish eating their feast when we walked pass by the Jap restaurant.

Miss Lim called out to us and said that she was about to find us to spend some quality time together since its the last night.
Wow! Feeling so touched~!!We settled down at the small cafe…
I ordered Coke Float with Whipped Cream but just when I was turning behind to look at the poster on the wall. Miss Lim actually sipped my whipped cream, leaving only half of it!!!!!! -.-
We had a great time getting to know each other, talking just like friends and never did I laugh so much before in my life as Trey entertained us again(must be the sake he drank). After which Miss Lim and Trey have to go off to catch a performance show with Miss Lim’s parents.

3 of us headed back room. We were grateful that Miss Lim was so willing to give us some of her time to spend some time with us and get to know us even though she was tired. As its a long day, both of them slept early while I took a small walk around the cruise. Just when…

Meal Five:

I bumped into Miss Lim, Trey and her parents again at the same cafe eating supper. In the end I was asked to sit down to join them. I was very overwhelmed with the warmth that her parents gave to Miss Lim as they eat their meals together. They are indeed a very loving family (:
So over the table was a bowl of duck soup noodles, bird nest, fried rice etc…

The next morning soon arrived and all of us met up in the morning to have our last meal together on the Cruise!

Soon after we are back to Singapore~! Home sweet home is nearing!!

So have you solved this mystery that really keep me ponder? Hmmm… With so many meals a day! How is it that Miss Lim can be so slim?

So this marks the end of the trip with Miss Lim. We really enjoyed ourselves and learn alot of using tips from the beauty clinic~! Would really like to take this opportunity to thanks Seikei Travels to organize this trip with Miss Lim. And also Miss Lim for being who she is thruout the trip and let us truely understand what kind of person she is behind the camera/ screen.

Usually, dragging myself out of bed for school/work would be a failed task. But this morning as i picture myself saying “Good Morning!” to Miss Lim in just a few hours time, my tiny eyes literally opened wide when the alarm clock rang. Besides, how could I bear to miss breakfast. (:

I was really on cloud nine as we walked towards Bella Vista that serve Western Style Breakfast. YIPPIE!

Yverlasting Tip#01:
For easy digestion, its always good to decorate your food with <3 to make it more appealing for your stomach. Nom Nom.

Yverlasting Tip#02:
To spot Miss Lim in a big crowd, its always good to search for the fairest of the lot and someone preferably wearing from the spectrum of the color,Pink. In this case, pinkish red. One last point to take note is she is beautiful too! So it’s not that aunty ar… She could be Mdm Lim but definitely not Miss Lim

The time is about to approach 9am.We quickly made our way to the Galaxy of the Stars, where the beauty clinic will be held. When we reached, WOW I was wrong to think that we might be the first few to arrive.

At this point of time, I am sincerely amazed at the arrangements and efforts that Seikei Travels did. As we passed through the doors, my jaw dropped when I hear Miss Lim’s song playing at the back ground and photos of her was projected on the screen.
Its as if I was put through a little place called PINK* HEAVEN!! -pulls hair-

Nevertheless, we slowly made our way to our reserved seats and patiently wait for the event to start. So guai hor.

Seikei Travel Beauty Clinic

I was taken aback to find Miss Lim to be such a engaging and entertaining speaker that patiently caters to the needs of us ‘students’ by answering all of our qsns. I believe that many of us couldn’t have agreed more that we learn so many many things too.


Yverlasting Tip#03:
To communicate better with Miss Lim,
its always good to learn dialect pet phrases eg.
Kou Ju: To cover up something so as to trap moisture in the atmosphere.
Ang Gey: (Direct translated by Miss Lim: Red Teeth) To have apple like rosy cheeks like Fann Wong.

After the enriching beauty clinic, we were give a chance to lunch together with Miss Lim.
Seated at Table 85 we made 2 new friends, an enthusiastic couple, Vincent and Elaine.

Miss Lim took the effort to spent time going around the neighboring tables to interact and take photos with the them.Before she finally came back to table 85 to eat with us.
Around the table, many of us took the chance to really find out what has been going on lately with Miss Lim.
Yverlasting Tip#04:
The best way to support Miss Lim is to support Singapore Production.

Come and guess what is this Grey Band around her wrist?

Ohh Miss Lim has very bad motion sickness so by wearing this band on both side. It will prevent her from getting seasick. (: Dun cha feel it suits her? She manage to carry it off like a fashion statement?

Writing this while my travel buddies- Rina and Socky is sleeping. Its been a exciting start so far, dun worry too much about me not having much fun here. A simple itinerary of what we will be doing

I guess it’s just the beginning of the trip and there is so much to look forward tomorrow! Firstly, checking in was smooth sailing and soon after we checked in. Miss lim came to the counter to check in with her parents and Best Buddy Trey.So nice that some of our Yverlasters came down to send us off too. After we said our good byes to the Yverlasters. Miss lim + gang parted ways with us as we boarded the cruise. I was pretty much excited to have given Miss Lim my very first! *shy* yep! My very first time… taking a cruise!! (WAT were u thinking!) So the power puff girls(us) went down for our buffet, our very first meal on the cruise!  After fumbling around to find the table that was assigned to us, we realized that Miss Lim’s table was sitting just next to us! Haha what pure coincidence! Buffet was a spread, a total killer to any girl’s diet plans and sweet Miss Lim got us Orange Juice! Ah nom nom nom shuurp!

Meet Mr and Mrs Lim (: they are very respectable and have been very nice to us and I now believe where Miss Lim got her 教养 from.

and she too introduced to her Best Buddy Trey. Who was pulled along by Miss Lim to accompany her and also help her along for the beauty talk happening the next day.
For those who may have find him familiar let me refresh your memory. Yep he is Trey Wong, a celebrity fashion stylist.

He appeared in various variety shows and style many artiest including Yvonne Lim, Fann Wong, Felicia Chin etc. More details click on his pictures. Trey has been a joy in this trip, never fail to bring the whole load of us laughter. Super witty and awesome entertaining along side with Miss Lim when they are together.

While eating our meals, there is whispers of aunties whispering whether is she ‘Lim Shui Xian’ from kampong ties. I guess kampong ties really entered the hearts of the aunties in Singapore. I couldn’t help eavesdropping as they reciting what happened in last night’s episode.

Haha! Really wish Yverlasters are here with us. It’s really great to see a more personal side of Miss lim off screen. Boleh boleh! Time to sleep! Tomorrow will be a fun filled awesome pack day with a beauty talk and exclusive lunch with Miss Lim.

Sweet dreams

It was quiet and not much customers around; we have the sector to ourselves.  We look through the menu…each dish was temping and we were at loss of which to order. It took us quite a while to order. While we wait for the food, we chatted among ourselves and get to know each other better.Lunch was served in a fine dining manner.

Not just the food but the selection of drinks were overwhelming as well.

The members chatted with one and another as usual, keeping the birthday girl in suspension. Slowly one by one began to disappear to prepare the next surprise they have for her.

“Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you!” The birthday girl turned around and saw Yvonne holding a birthday cake walking towards her. She speechless for moments.

The camera committee also took their day off today as there was a new camera person in session. It was none other than Yvonne herself. Using an oversize camera, Yvonne began snapping photos of everyone.

The cake was awesome!  Not only was it delivered by Yvonne herself but also cut by Yvonne and distributed out to the members in the celebration!

Yvonne chatted with the members one by one, getting to know them and noted the birthdays of the new members. New members who were present at the mini celebration got to interact with Yvonne up close. Yvonne herself was delighted to see familiar and new faces at the celebration.

Soon, our chats gets louder and louder filled with laughter as Yvonne shares her current activities with us.

Lastly, we left for our favorite bubble milk tea and Yvonne got a chance to be a student for a day using one of our member’s card! Now isn’t this cool?

It was certainty a special day for the members of  Yverlasting Yvonne 湘绣萍踪!
